Terms of use

Short, and in plain words, because a page nobody reads protects nobody.

Last updated 3 September 2026

Using it

Fade Readers is free to use with your own children, your class, or the children you care for. You don't need permission for that and you don't need to credit anyone.

Please don't republish it as your own, sell it, or strip the artwork and letters out for another product. The app, its text, its letter designs, its illustrations and its recorded sounds belong to Angela Sposato.

What it is, and isn't

It is a set of picture books that teach letters by drawing them as things. It is not a diagnostic tool, a reading assessment, or a substitute for a teacher, a speech-language pathologist, or a reading specialist. If you're worried about someone's reading, talk to a person who can meet them.

No warranty

Fade Readers is provided as-is, without warranty of any kind. It may have bugs, it may be unavailable at times, and it may change. To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for losses arising from using it. Nothing here removes rights you have under consumer law where you live.

Changes

These terms may change as the app grows — if there's a paid version later, for instance. The date at the top says when they last did.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, USA.
